Howto

A tent is a simple shape basically. It’s a triangle. No curves needed, really, so go for it.

This one I made with some foamboard and small wooden beams. You can just lay it all out and cut it to size. This one I did with hot glue and again painted with acrylics.

This was one of my first builds and while it turned out ok, it isn’t perfect. The foamboard has a paper lining that I wasn’t able to completely remove.

Overall, the shape is very square and there are no details. It would be nice to have this have some folds and feel more like cloth but I was just starting out and didn’t know how to put them there. So I guess I’ll redo this someday and try to make it better. I would still recommend trying it, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just make something and learn in the process.
