So first I made the inner bedding using thin white felt and regular stuffing. It’s a simple sewing job, just straight lines and right angles. For the cover I also added some quilting so that the stuffing will stay more or less in place. This worked out well but I wouldn’t recommend felt as it’s very stiff and doesn’t move around naturally. Use some regular cotton cloth instead.

Once you have this inner bedding, you can make as many covers as you like. I found this funky pattern fabric and used it. Add buttons to close it up. Now Babs might actually stop complaining - keep your fingers crossed.
